This is Alex's first year playing basketball for parks and rec and what a great experience it has been. Today he made his very first basket in a game! YAY! The program starts off with 25min. clinics where they are taught a skill followed by a 25 minute scrimmage to practice that skill. No scores, no fouls, no stealing, only high fives and treats at the end of the game. Overall its been a very positive experience. Only one game left and we think Alex learned a whole lot more than just basketball.
